Frequently Asked Questions about Photo Conversion

Yes, our algorithm automatically corrects perspective distortions up to 30 degrees. However, for the best results, it is recommended to shoot documents directly from above. If the angle is too large (more than 45 degrees), the recognition accuracy may decrease. In such cases, we recommend using the "Enhance Photo Quality" feature in the settings.

Yes, our converter supports the recognition of readable handwritten text. To do this, select "Handwritten Text" in the settings. Best results are achieved with neat, non-cursive handwriting and good contrast of ink on paper. Complex cursive styles may be recognized with less accuracy.

The recommended minimum resolution is 2-3 megapixels (approx. 1600x1200 pixels). For documents with fine text, it is better to use 5-8 megapixels. Modern smartphones usually shoot in sufficient quality. It is important that the text in the photo is clear and legible when magnified, not just a large number of pixels.

Yes, our converter supports the modern HEIC format used by iPhones by default. Photos are automatically converted to a suitable format for processing. Recognition quality with HEIC is usually higher than with JPG, due to better loss less compression and preservation of more details.

In the current version, one photo is processed at a time. However, you can sequentially process multiple photos and then merge the resulting Excel files. For batch processing of multiple photos, we are developing a separate solution that will be available soon.
